The worst of winter seems to have passed now and the summer driving tyres are looking likely to be dusted down and returned to their loving van. The last month has flown by, lots of training and longer evenings are great. I also seem to have caught a cold so what an opportunity to stick together a blog before an early night and having had a missed opportunity to ride.
Another race was ticked off the calander a few weeks ago. Vallelujah in Selkirk. There was some great competition but not a ride I was joyace about. I was please to have strung together a reasonable result but after a crash on stage one and a rather amateur feeling ride on the final stage I was hoping for more. Regardless, I was feeling strong and the season will feed off of some of these early races.
Some photos below of the weekend in Glencoe along with some shots from the follow up shoot at Glentress a few weeks later to get the final shots. The weather on this occasion wasn't so kind, regardless we had a good day thrashing about the woods.
Glencoe shines strong on warm spring says. Snow capped hills make for an amazing riding spot.
Finding dry trails at the end of March in Scotland is rain, especially on the West coast.
Pure bike porn!
Glentress treated us to a hail storm mid shoot. Trev pulled out the stops with the camera though.
Only one more race looms this month, Round 2 of the Scottish Enduro Series at Ae forest where I'm sure another hotly contested results sheet will be apparent.
