It’s all change coming into the end of 2018. Bristol’s currently home for me and that comes with some positives and negatives. What’s awesome is that I’m now able to spend more time in the gym with Coach Plenge from MTB Strength Factory. I’ve also been able to grab some rides in with him as training for 2018 begins.
I’ve started a new job just out of the city. Plenty of commuting miles are clocking up and weekends are packed with riding.
With work though it means less time to ride and coaching has taken a back seat for a bit. I’m still developing my coaching experience and will be offering sessions on a private basis for now. Get in touch if you’re keen to learn some key skills and improve your confidence and ability on a bike. It’s something I love doing and it’s great when clients really make progress.
Training starting to ramp up, with a 40+ hr working week it’s challenging just now so it’s trying to keep things sustainable over the winter. I’m hoping I’ll get to some EWS rounds again and work on last years superb year.
There’s some top riding spots locally and I’ve not even touch the surface I don’t think. BPW is just over the bridge and the trails at Triscombe are phenomenal. Loving this spot.
Finally with training comes a need for good nutrition. Plenge is always pressing on about veg and greens so here’s just a little inspiration on what you could rustle up for breakfast, lunch or I guess even dinner. Proper good food!
